I am excited to announce that my new EP, Glimpse of Glory, is officially available to stream on all music platforms. The EP is a collection of songs that highlight God’s presence everywhere we look, and in any circumstance we may find ourselves in. It stemmed from my own inability to recognize it, and an increase in my own self-awareness that if I just look closely, I can see God is always there.
This thought is not only the inspiration for the songs, but also for the artwork for the EP cover. In 2019, I decided to start creating new memories with my mom by taking an annual trip. We kicked off the tradition celebrating her birthday with a trip to Alaska.
On our way to see a glacier, I took the unfiltered photo below. It was peaceful, captivating and breath taking. It was beautiful, and it put me in a posture of worship.

We continued with a ride on the famous White Pass and Yukon Route train, which runs from Skagway, Alaska to Fraser British Columbia, Canada, and back. It was on this trip that I wrote “Alaska”. While everyone wanted to witness the view from the inside of the train, I sat outside on the platform connecting two train carts. I pulled out my notebook and began to write:
I journey on a train with much anticipation
Climbing miles high, I step out on the platform
Brave it out to see Your glory
I just want to catch a glimpse of your glory
In our climb, we experienced beautiful mountains, greenery, waterfalls, rivers, and lots and lots of snow. There was a moment I witnessed a pillar of cloud cover an entire mountain range, and I thought “Wow, to think something so majestic is still just a little glimpse of God’s vast glory”. I could not help but write and sing:
There You are, not too far
Everywhere I look I catch a glimpse of Your glory
Lord, I’m in awe, in wonder
Your beauty lifts my head
Captivates my heart again, and again
Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands”. Many times, our busyness, screen time, and even our own shame and sin keeps our heads looking down. If we just take a minute to look up, it might renew our sense of wonder and restore our faith.
I pray this EP inspires all of us to look up. If we just look up, and take note of the sky, there we will see God.
Again, you can find Glimpse of Glory on all platforms. I can't wait to hear what you think!
